Washington Director for the Northwest Sarcoma Foundation

As of 2019, Mary Lou is proud to serve as the Washington Director of the Northwest Sarcoma Foundation. She is thrilled to promote this organization and their mission to provide hope, education and support to individuals and families dealing with this cancer, and vows to make a difference through the annual gala - Knight Life Gala- Slaying Sarcoma, in October, and the Dragonslayer Warrior Walk.

Mary Lou has a long standing history with nonprofit affiliations. Originally, she began Clothesminded, a nonprofit dedicated to providing recycled business attire from the community to welfare to work recipients. Additionally, she began the Arizona Wind Symphony and donated it to it's current director, Bill Richardson. She has since helped create Spark Your, worked with Seattle Children's Hospital, Hopelink, Eastside Musical Theater, Choral Arts Northwest, Star Guild, Spark Your Little Heart Guild, Music Center NW, Washington Wind Symphony and Seattle Wind Symphony.

Mary Lou has been a Realtor/Broker for over 19 years and a multi-award winner with internationally renown Re/Max Alliance. Service is her mantra when working with clients. Clarinetist and Promoter

Mary Lou has played clarinet for over 40 years. She has played professionally with several wind bands, including the Northbrook Pops, Microsoft Symphony, Washington Wind Symphony and Seattle Wind Symphony and began the Arizona Wind Symphony in 1999. Today, she teaches and assists other wind bands, jazz bands, and promotes their concerts. 


Mary Lou is a dual certified, highly qualified teacher in English Language Arts and Social Studies. Currently, she is a teacher with K12 Insight of WA, teaching over 600 students in Psychology and Sociology as well as Advisory in Lessons from 7 Mindsets. Additionally, she taught Washington State History and English credit retrieval and is currently a Teacher 360 Mentor and K12 Outreach Promoter.
